By pairing the finest natural and man-made handle materials with the highest grades of hand-sorted badger hair, each brush is a delight to the senses.
Brush No.56 features a heavy lathe turned handle which was shaped from a section of over 10,000 year old Siberian Wooly Mammoth (Mammuthus primigenius ) tusk. An inset laser engraved Brazilian rosewood GSG emblem is recessed into the brush bottom. There are a couple fine cracks which have been permanently sealed. The entire handle has been polished to a super smooth high gloss & coated with Renaissance wax.
The brush features a 26mm diameter knot of sumptuous High Mountain White Manchurian badger hair. These rare bristles have a medium firm stiffness paired with velvety soft white tips ensuring a generous lather.
This brush will arrive in a custom box with a care guide featuring a wax seal, the artist’s signature and a complimentary tin of Renaissance Wax to keep the brush handle protected and looking its best.
