Restoration: Just lightly but thoroughly polished and cleaned, honed and stropped to a shave ready condition, very well preserved
Blade
Material: Carbon Steel
Width: 11/16" wide from edge to top of spine at the widest point
Grind: Elegant blade shape, Full hollow
Hone Wear: very light
Tip: Round
Finishes: Crocus (mirror) finish on spine and tang, glazed finish to the blade faces
Condition: Very Good, some minor blemishes (patina) remaining in the steel, commensurate with its age
Shave ready: Yes, freshly honed with one layer or tape on the spine
Scales
Material: Original black buffalo horn with nickel silver inlay design ( a few of the pieces are missing, as seen in photos)
Pinning: Nickel silver washers and pinning, only the pivot pin has been replaced
Condition: Very good, no flaws, the blade centers well between them 

About our restoration and honing process
Each one of our restored razors is brought back to life with a passion and attention to detail like it would be an addition to our own collection or user rotation. Many years of restoration experience and hundreds of restored razors sold around the world have refined our processes, but each razor is still given the time and individual attention it needs. Our vintage razors undergo dozens of steps involving blade unpinning (where necessarily) metal grinding/sanding with a range of different diameter and hardness wheels with various grits of abrasive and polishes. Scales are straightened and repaired when necessary, wet sanded and polishing. After the razor’s cosmetic and functional repairs are completed, a multistep honing process using a range of synthetic and natural sharpening stones is used to bring each razor back to keen and comfortable shaving sharpness. Finally stropping is performed on one of our cordovan leather strops and the blade is sanitized in Barbicide hospital-grade disinfectant.
