Aiwatani Suita Japanese Natural Finishing Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 220 mm (8.66 inches) long × 95 mm (3.74 inches) wide × 27 mm (1.06 inches) tall, and weighs 1463 g (51.62 oz / 3.23 lbs).

Large, firm Aiiwatani Suita with excellent hardness. This stone has a few lines which can mildly be felt. they can be easily be removed and the stone represents an excellent value to someone who has experience with natural stones. There area few lines which will need to be addressed but they can also be avoided with relative ease. A wonderful pre finisher for razors with it's fast cutting ability. Leaves a semi aggressive, pre finished edge which is easily followed by a fine finishing stone. Also great for knives/tools and highly effective for toothy edges and beautiful contrasting Kasumi finish.
