A Suita nagura (not pictured) will be included with this hone.

This exceptional Japanese Whetstone is a rare treasure, purchased by us from the estate of a collector of fine Japanese hones. A large bench size hone, it measures 208 mm (8.19") long × 83 mm (3.27") wide × 33 mm (1.30") tall / 1405 grams (3.10 lbs)
Thoroughly evaluated by 4 experts, this whetstone comes with a pedigree of testing and appreciation. Initially assessed and sold by Keith Johnson of Brooklyn, a highly respected authority in the whetstone community, the stone has been extensively tested by its next owner with his detailed notes included right on the stone. Its excellence has been further verified by Alec Redpath & Matt of Griffith Shaving Goods, confirming its status as an ideal finishing stone for the finest razors or kitchen knives. All sides and back of the hone have been sealed with cashew lacquer to preserve the long-term integrity of the stone. The hone can be seen in use here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fvR3d-IOpAg

This particular Suita is very unique and rare. Full sized Authentic Okudo Suita are nearly impossible to find these days. It is a hard stone and very fine. With beautiful burnt umber and white with Aka Renge, it is a beautiful looking stone with loads of character. The brown lines are just color and cannot be felt/scratch.
Water only honing is exceedingly smooth and the feeling of elasticity is very evident. The cutting speed is medium fast and the overall feel is very high quality in its smooth elastic feedback, very similar in feel to Nakayama Suita. The stone speeds way up with diamond plate slurry and the beautiful light orange slurry immediately darkens with swarf from the blade. I found that using the stone this way was very beneficial in that it removes medium grit scratches with ease. The resulting edges are very sharp and aggressive. Using the matching Okudo Suita Tomo Nagura will refine the edge to super keen and very comfortable. Mikawa Nagura progressions are doable on this stone which makes for a unique experience. The stone will self slurry into the mix especially with harder Mikawa Nagura. The feedback from the Nagura are very evident and stand out against the silky smooth feel of the base stone. For knife polishing, this stone is also very dreamy and a wonderful option for Kasumi finish and edges. The resulting polishing session was extremely smooth with fast cutting capabilities and great polishing ability. The polish on clad knives is wonderful with detailed, bright but lightly hazy cladding and layering present in the core steel. A wonderful stone for knives, razors and tools.
