Highly comparable to Ohira Suita and performs almost identical to many Ohira Suita. Would make a perfect substitute for Ohira Shiro Suita Renge and produces amazing Kasumi finish and wonderful edges. Amazing for razor pre finish and removes Medium grit scratches quickly and effectively with live feedback and fast cutting speed. Perfect for knives and tools. Can be used for razors for pre finish and removes medium grit scratches effectively. knife and tool edges are toothy and aggressive with great edge retention and cutting performance when used on tough skinned vegetables and butchery. This example boasts a solid medium hardness which is noticeably more firm than most Hideriyama Suita. It is also quite refined overall and aside from a few lines, it is an amazing performer with beautiful, white, Shiro Suita base. Extremely fast cutting Suita with light self slurry created which adds to the cutting strength. knife and tool edges are nice and toothy with amazing food penetration and edge durability. For polishing, it performs on par with all high level Shiro Suita Renge like Ohira, Shobudani and Yaginoshima. Amazing Suita for the price!
