Kizuyama Akapin Japanese Natural Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 138 mm (5.43 inches) long × 75 mm (2.95 inches) wide × 35 mm (1.38 inches) tall, and weighs 867 g (30.58 oz / 1.91 lbs).

Medium soft and dreamy stone from the rare Kizuyama Mine, located in close proximity to Nakayama. This stone is velvety smooth and almost too easy to use. The stone was chiseled on the backside and adds to its natural beauty. This is an extremely high class, softer stone which is easy going in every way. A very high class Akapin stone with excellent purity. The stone does a wonderful job in removing medium grit scratches. Great for pre finishing razors
