Mizukihara is revered for their rich history of sword polishing grade Uchigumori, which is a layer within the Tenjou Suita strata. Uchigumori are indispensable for sword and blade polishing as their unique composition creates a beautiful, hazy effect on the steel, known as Kasumi. All sharpeners can appreciate Uchigumori as it is quite easy to use and it's fast cutting, grit rich composition allows for medium grit scratches to be removed and replaced with a blanket of uniform haze. Harder Uchigumori Jito koppa with Renge and Suminagashi. There are a few slightly scratchy lines which can be easily removed. Great Uchigumori for edge work and polishing alike. Inky and firm with fast cutting speed.
