Nakayama Kiita Japanese Natural Finishing Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 135 mm (5.31 inches) long × 80 mm (3.15 inches) wide × 19 mm (0.75 inches) tall, and weighs 502 g (17.71 oz / 1.11 lbs).

Old stock, hard Nakayama Kiita koppa for razors. A wonderful value being a bit short in height but its density and hardness will ensure that it lasts long. With bright yellow kiita base, this displays excellent hardness and refinement capabilities. It has an underlying smooth, gentle feel which is characteristic of these older Kiita. Can be used effectively with nagura progression or standalone finishing. quite versatile in use and perfect for either nagura progressions or standalone finishing with its high hardness and cutting ability. A great, budget Nakayama Kiita reminiscent of Maruichi Nakayama. The stone has some interesting mottling laying in wait, just under the surface and will likely show some interesting patterns with extended use/lapping.
