Hardness: 4.7
Razor sized Ozaki Shiki tomae Mizu Asagi for razor finishing. This stone is quite hard and fine. featuring a classic blue, Mizu Asagi base with orange Nashiji, this stone represents an excellent value. The stone has a couple hairline cracks/non-toxic lines which do not affect honing and only serve as a visual distraction. Good for Nagura progressions and standalone finishing. Ozaki stones are cherished in Japan as they have received high praise from Craftsman in Japan for decades. The supply of Okazi stones is very limited as Ozaki was a later discovery in terms of Eastern Mines. Most of the production was sold and used in the domestic market in Japan and very few stones were reserved for wholesale.
