Shobudani is one of two of the original Honyama Mines along with Nakayama. Shobudani produced a wide variety of stone types and characteristics and is known for its versatile stones. This Beautiful Shiro Suita is an Ao Renge type with vivid Yaki orange. This is a large, 30' size Suita with excellent purity and shows no surface flaws. A thick, tall stone with perfect shape. This is a semi hard Suita which is extremely inky and fast cutting. while quite firm, it's still very easy to use. A great suita for razor finishing with its increased hardness and purity. Can be used with Nagura progressions for a unique unique honing experience and produces light saber edges. great for knives, tools and swords and capable of producing extremely fine edge and polish.
