This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan and thoroughly tested and the sides and back were sealed with clear lacquer.

They measure:
#1 - 115 mm (4.53 in) long × 80 mm (3.15 in) wide × 23 mm (0.91 in) tall, and weighs 440 g (15.52 oz / 0.97 lb).

#2 – 80 mm (3.15 in) long × 68 mm (2.68 in) wide × 22 mm (0.87 in) tall, and weighs 316 g (11.15 oz / 0.70 lb).

Rare, vintage Maruichi Nakayama Asagi koppa 2 piece set. This is leftover inventory from a store which closed down years ago. #1 is a Medium hardness Nakayama Asagi Nashiji. This stone has a crack on the side but I think it can be sealed and reinforced. It is large enough for direct honing of razors, Kamisori, knives and tools. #2 is labeled as Hard and features a classic mizu Asagi blue base color. it is a perfectly square stone which can be used either for direct honing of razors, Kamisori and small tools/knives or as a Tomo Nagura slurry stone. This set comes BNIB with the package and stamping! Either stone can be used for direct razor/Kamisori honing or used as a Tomo Nagura slurry stone. Collector grade stones!
