This 4 piece Asano Stamped Mikawa Shiro Nagura progression is perfect for razors when used in combination with a hard finishing stone. The entire set is Betsuju (white) and medium hardness. I found this set to be quite easy to work with in terms of reading the feedback. Each Nagura in this set provided a highly effective abrasive slurry which yields a high percentage of its own abrasive when used on base stones LV 4+. This set is perfect for transitioning from a bevel setting (1k/equivalent) to a hard, fine finishing stone. These Mikawa nagura are 100% Authentic, stamped and inspected by the Man himself guaranteeing the highest quality pieces.

We have tested each nagura for quality, and carefully matched them for use in progression. In addition all sides except the rubbing surface have been coated with sealer to protect the nagura from water infiltration / deterioration over time.
