Mizukihara Uchuigumori Japanese Natural Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 130 mm (5.12 inches) long × 120 mm (4.72 inches) wide × 15 mm (0.59 inches) tall, and weighs 428 g (15.10 oz / 0.94 lbs).

Budget friendly Mizukihara Uchigumori koppa. This medium hard Uchigumori koppa has a few thin lines which will need removal eventually. Due to these, the stone is marked down accordingly and once the thin lines are removed, it will be a fully functioning, high performance stone. Typical vividly contrasting Kasumi finish and these firm Uchigumori tend to polish the core a bit more effectively than the softer examples. The firm base is also welcomed when using for razors and this Uchigumori is wonderful for pre finishing, removing medium grit scratches effectively and creating an edge and polish with amazing depth and preparing the edge for final finishing.
