Natsuya Old Stock Medium Grit Japanese Natural Whetstone - Choose Your Stone

Large, voluminous, Vintage Tiger striped Natsuya. These Natsuya are medium hard and feature te classic, off white, beige base coloration with vivid orange striping. While considered Naka toishi, these Stones are capable of amazing levels of refinement. Being medium hard, they have the ability to break down particles and provide a beautifully polished edge with some work. These Natsuya are extremely rangey with aggressive cutting speed. They can set bevels on straight razors with no major damage and possess enough base hardness for great particle breakdown and amazing levels of polish and refinement. The grain is very uniform for a medium grit natural and they can be likened to a mikawa nagura in many ways. Having the great range in refinement capabilities allows them to occupy the bevel setting aspect and the ability to refine that into somewhere in the lower pre finish area with work.
