Aiwatani Suita Japanese Natural Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 153 mm (6.02 inches) long × 50 mm (1.97 inches) wide × 23 mm (0.91 inches) tall, and weighs 386 g (13.62 oz / 0.85 lbs).

Large, wide, medium hardness Aiiwatani Suita. Fast cutting stone with moderate hardness and amazing ease of use characteristics. Amazing for toothy kitchen knife edges and kasumi polishing. Best used as a pre finishing stone for razors and tools. Its width will easily accommodate any blade including razor pre finish, knives and tools. Priced affordably due to its imperfect nature which includes some thin lines which can easily be removed or avoided with its large available surface area.
