Aiwatani Suita Karasu Japanese Natural Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 215 mm (8.46 inches) long × 105 mm (4.13 inches) wide × 40 mm (1.57 inches) tall, and weighs 2154 g (75.99 oz / 4.75 lbs).

Firm and fine Aiiwatani Karasu Suita. Double sided stone which offers a glimpse into the purity of the entire stone. These Aiiwatani Karasu Suita are excellent stones for finishing razors, knives and tools. This stone has a unique elastic feel which provides an extra smooth honing experience. Can be used with Nagura progressions or standalone. This stone has a wonderful balance of hardness and abrasive content which allows for the stone to perform at a high level while resisting self slurry.
