Boker Count Adolf III 6/8 Singing Full Hollow Blade with Filed Spine & Horn Scales Solingen Straight Razor
Note: The razor shown is a stock photo from our inventory. Since the razor's scales are made from a natural material they will vary in appearance from those shown.
We've been very impressed with the new razors released from the classic brand of Boker Solingen, and are proud to now offer some of their fine razors. The craftsmanship is impeccable and blade grinding truly top-notch, many with a clear ringing sound associated with some of the thinnest, most finely ground vintage razors when the blade is lightly plucked.
Description from Boker:
"This extraordinary 6/8" straight razor symbolizes the death of Adolf III, Count of Berg, during the Fifth Crusade in Egypt. The end of the polished blade is lined by a French head, which underlines the special elegance of this piece. Hand selected horn scales with additional decorative pins, the elaborate grind of the blade back, and the partial gilding are just a few of its highlights. Delivered in a refined presentation display with certificate of authenticity and individual serial number."
Since many of our customers like to hone their own razors, by default we will ship these razors with the factory edge. However, we will happily hone them to our standards upon request, at no additional charge. If this service is desired please leave us a note at checkout and allow an extra 2-3 business days before shipment.
