Note: The razor shown is a stock photo from our inventory. Since the razor's scales are made from a natural material they will vary in appearance from those shown.
We've been very impressed with the new razors released from the classic brand of Boker Solingen, and are proud to now offer some of their fine razors. The craftsmanship is impeccable and blade grinding truly top-notch, many with a clear ringing sound associated with some of the thinnest, most finely ground vintage razors when the blade is lightly plucked.
Description from Boker:
"The reissue of the most famous models in the long history of the Boker straight razor. Featured in the 1906 product catalog of Boker USA, these especially high quality models were decorated with the same traditional lettering. The newly designed models with handles made from a selection of fine woods also feature the popular 5/8" blades, which are laboriously made from carbon steel and elaborately decorated. Delivered in historic packaging with certificate of authenticity.
The scales of this elegant model are made from hand selected olive wood, exuding a lively grain. This model is further refined with the classic Boker tree symbol, which is delicately inserted into the handle scale. The back of the blade is also adorned with artistic decoration, adding to the elegance of this piece."
Since many of our customers like to hone their own razors, by default we will ship these razors with the factory edge. However, we will happily hone them to our standards upon request, at no additional charge. If this service is desired please leave us a note at checkout and allow an extra 2-3 business days before shipment.
