Our signature shell cordovan razor strops, made in our own shop are composed of genuine British shell cordovan and Swedish made 100% cotton 'linen' sides. The shell cordovan used in this strop is the ultimate in top-tier leathers. It is often used in dress shoes and other luxury items and is prized for its smooth, slick surface. This particular type of leather's rarity and cost is due to the many months needed for the tanning process and the fact that only a few square feet are obtained from each horsehide. 
Imported from a mill in Sweden, the carefully selected cotton material used for the cloth side is of the finest quality with a fine and tight weave. The heavy duty hanger clip is stainless steel and a type used on sailing boats. These strops are totally handmade in the GSG workshop; from leather selection, hand cutting, beveling and assembly.

All strops use brown shell cordovan and black Horween Chromexcell horsebutt connecting leathers, except strop #1 which uses brown Chromexcel connecting pieces:

Strop #1 in has 16 inch long clear stropping areas (between the ends)
Strop #2 in has 18 inch long clear stropping areas (between the ends)
Strop #3 in has 19 inch long clear stropping areas (between the ends)
Strop #4 in has 19 1/2 inch long clear stropping areas (between the ends)
Strop #5 in has 20 inch long clear stropping areas (between the ends)
Strop #6 in has 21 inch long clear stropping areas (between the ends)
Strop #7 in has 22 1/2 inch long clear stropping areas (between the ends)
