Griffith Shaving Goods Heavyweight Horween Horsebutt & Cotton - 2 1/2 Inch Wide x 24" Long - Barber Style Razor Strop

We proudly present this handmade, premium quality strop with famous Horween Leather and made in the USA stainless steel and plated brass hardware. This traditional style strop with plain "barber" ends measures 2 1/2 inches wide, with a 22 1/2 inch long stropping area on both the 9.oz+ vegetable tanned Horween horsebutt leather and Swedish made 100% cotton "linen" sides. Strops with unhandled ends are the most commonly found vintage type and we think that the range of hand holds that they allow help to explain their popularity amongst old and new barbers alike. The stropping surface is a very smooth heavy-weight 9 oz. horsebutt with a medium velvety draw. The carefully selected cotton material used for the cloth side and is of the finest quality with a fine and tight weave and is imported from a mill in Sweden. The heavy duty hanger clip is stainless steel and a type used on sailing boats. These strops are totally handmade in the GSG workshop; from leather selection, hand cutting, beveling and assembly.

- Black Horween Chromexcel horsebutt connecting leather at the top
- 100% Cotton "linen" cloth stropping surface, from a mill in Sweden
- Made in the USA & Imported hardware, with stainless steel (hanger clip and hanger bar) and nickel plated brass (fastening screws)
