Made in our own shop, these shell cordovan paddle-style razor strops feature English shell cordovan in various colors mounted to a 0.25. in. thick laser cut and engraved Cherry plywood base which has been hand sanded and coated in an oil and urethane finish. The shell cordovan used in this strop is the ultimate in top-tier leathers. It is often used in dress shoes and other luxury items and is prized for its smooth, slick surface. This particular type of leather's rarity and cost is due to the many months needed for the tanning process and the fact that only a few square feet are obtained from each horsehide.
