This razor was traded in to us and has just been cleaned, freshly honed and sanitized and is ready to shave with.It shows moderate hone wear.
Iwasaki razors are still made today in the traditional way at the Iwasaki workshop (called "Sanjyo Seisakujo") located in Sanjo, Niigata Prefecture Japan, a renowned metalworking center. Swedish Sandvik steel is hand forged and laminated to a softer jigane low carbon steel to create a shaving instrument that is as beautiful as it is supremely functional.
