J.G. Escher & Vintage Thuringian Water Razor Hones

 Up for offer here are 2 rare and highly desirable Thuringian razor hones, both labelled and sold by J.G. Escher.

Stone No.1 pictured is a labelled Escher which in our estimation is a blue-green stone. The stone itself measures 1 1/4 in x 5 7/8 in. x approximately 11/16in. thick. The label on the stone is in excellent condition as shown. The paper label has been lacquered to the stone and the honing surface has been lapped flat and smooth and is ready to hone razors immediately.

Stone No.2 pictured is a labelled Escher which has a dark-blue end label. The stone itself measures 1 7/16 in x 6 15/16 in. x approximately 3/4in. thick. The label on the stone is in excellent condition as shown. Both paper labels have been lacquered to the stone and the honing surface has been lapped flat and smooth and is ready to hone razors immediately.
