The M7 is one of Alexander Simpson’s original shaving brush designs, dating back to around 1919, when the company was founded in London’s East End. Its distinctive handle has become iconic among traditional shaving enthusiasts and has been imitated by numerous manufacturers, but never truly bettered.

This M7 features a beautifully lathe-turned handle and is densely filled with Simpson’s uniquely sourced Manchurian badger hair. Distinguished by its striking two-band appearance, firm shafts and exceptionally soft tips, Manchurian badger provides excellent backbone, luxurious face feel and outstanding lathering performance. The result is a highly responsive brush that combines gentle exfoliation with superb flow-through and lather release.
