Vintage, BNIB Maruichi Nakayama from a closed shops inventory. Maruichi Shokai was a famous distributor in the Barber industry in JP. They were most famous for these Nakayama and Narutaki Maruichi Whetstones which were processed and stamped by Maruichi, originating from Kato/Hatanaka. Maruichi Whetstones tend to be mostly marketed towards straight razor users but these high quality stones are amazing for knives, tools, razors and swords! Nowadays, these Maruichi are rare and valuable as the company closed decades ago.
