Nakayama Hon Tomae Kiita Koppa Japanese Finishing Whetstone

This Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and coated with cashew lacquer on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 125 mm (4.92 inches) long × 72 mm (2.83 inches) wide × 25 mm (0.98 inches) tall, and weighs 480 g (16.93 oz / 1.06 lbs).

Hardness: 4.7
Smaller, handheld Kiita yellow Koppa from the Nakayama Mine. This stone is very versatile and a great value, being smaller. This Kiita has high hardness and can be used as a standalone finisher or with Nagura progressions. Although quite hard, the stone has the characteristic elasticity which allows for user friendly feel with little to no self slurry.
