Nakayama is widely considered the pinnacle of natural Whetstones and they are cherished by craftsmen and collectors alike. This Nakayama kiita possesses great hardness and cutting speed. This Hon tomae is mounted to a vintage dai and is an old mined Nakayama. This is a hard Kiita with bright yellow Kiita base color and beautiful Nashiji. An extremely versatile stone for its hardness and feels extremely smooth in use. Extremely fine Kiita Nashiji with beautiful kan end caps. Has a line which runs vertical. cannot be felt currently but may require maintenance in the future, however since it runs vertically, it's less of an issue in terms of practical use, Price is reduced for this. Perfect for razor final finishing using Nagura progressions and standalone finishing. light saber edge producer and achieves it rather quickly. Can be used for knives, tools and swords as well.
