Narutaki Asagi Suminagashi Koppa Japanese Natural Finishing Whetstone

This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed on sides and back to protect the stone for long term use. 

It measures 135 mm (5.31 inches) long × 80 mm (3.15 inches) wide × 13 mm (0.51 inches) tall, and weighs 401 g (14.14 oz / 0.88 lbs).

Hard Narutaki Asagi with deep, dark kuro Asagi appearance and underlying Suminagashi. These Hon Narutaki Asagi can be very hard and this example is perfectly suited for razor honing and tool finishing. Although quite hard, it is easy to work with, as are many Narutaki stones. This is a harder, darker colored Asagi which is quite fine yet forgiving and easy to use. great for all levels of skill and perfect for those who prefer a slightly softer finishing stone for razor honing.
