This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed with clear lacquer on the sides to protect the stone for long term use.

It measures 190 mm (7.48 in) long × 70 mm (2.76 in) wide × 24 mm (0.94 in) tall, and weighs 920 g (32.45 oz / 2.03 lb).

Narutaki Mizu Asagi Suminagashi for razor finishing. This vintage Narutaki is beautiful with its dual toned surface. Deep, dark Mizu blue fades into burnt orange with underlying Suminagashi. This Narutaki is hard and very fine yet quite easy to work with.
