This exceptional Japanese whetstone was selected by us and imported directly from Japan, thoroughly tested and sealed with clear lacquer on the sides to protect the stone for long term use.

It measures 178 mm (7.01 in) long × 62 mm (2.44 in) wide × 22 mm (0.87 in) tall, and weighs 604 g (21.31 oz / 1.33 lb).

Amazing Hon Narutaki Tenjou Tomae with deep, swirling holographic Suminagashi within its red/pink base. Extremely easy going yet not soft. This stunning Ikimurasaki is both beautiful and an extremely high performance stone. Narutaki are known for being traditional sword polishing stones and therefore, also great for razors and blade polishing. This stone demonstrates amazing cutting ability with inky black swarf produced immediately. This stone has a live feel when honing and quite close to stone for a medium firm stone. Produces a bright, hazy finish. also great for knives and tools finishing.
