Thin, affordable Okudo Asagi with beautiful Suminagashi banding. extremely easy to work with and fast cutting. This slim Azuki Asagi is hunter green base color. This is a shallower Tomae layer Okudo Asagi with nice density which allows a wide range of finishing possibilities. A great all around koppa at an affordable price. This stone would make a great travel hone as it can be used hand held and requires minimal to no slurry medium to quickly touch up an edge with minimal damage. With firm pressure, the stone cuts effectively releasing a small amount of potent, fast cutting self slurry. With slurry management and light touch, a comfortable shaving edge can be achieved with no fuss. Also great for knives and tools and capable of achieving a bright, reflective Kasumi finish and nicely balanced, refined edge.
