This kuro Asagi is the ultimate razor finishing stone with its extremely hard base. Perfect for Mikawa nagura progressions with outstanding and clear feedback. This stone is perfect for someone seeking a super hard, super fine stone with excellent surface area. Edges produced by stone are hyper keen and extremely comfortable. This Ozuku releases little to none of itself into mix when honing with Mikawa nagura which makes cutting speed efficient and Nagura performance to shine through as typically a higher percentage of base stone slows down the Nagura's ability to remove medium grit scratches to a degree.
