This stunningly rare and beautiful Ozuku Suita is the pinnacle of a pure Karasu Suita. Originating from a boutique natural Whetstone shop in Japan, it's a near museum piece in all aspects. This stone comes with the original box and label, straight off the shelf. This particular shop closed down years ago and this is inventory from their store. This stunning Suita is extremely rare and valuable as Ozuku Suita with this purity and size are nearly extinct from today's market. The stone appears to be Sunashi Suita and appears to be pure throughout the entire height of the stone. the backside is covered with gorgeous Kawa and adds to its natural beauty. This Suita is extremely hard and fine with the ability to produce a stunning mirror finish. Perfect for razors, tools and knives where the finest mirror finish is desired. This appears to be a Sunashi Suita which was mined close to the Karasu Suita layers. It is a very hard stone, comparable but slightly harder in general than Nakayama Suita. Although it is hard, it is fast cutting and the stone's dense abrasive particles are extremely fine. It is also quite easy to use for such a hard stone. Collector Grade!
