The white Tam O'Shanter, prized for its ability to achieve \"very fine cuts,\" surpasses the grit rating of ordinary gray Tam O Shanter hones and approaches 12,000 grit. Its applications extend to meticulous edge finishing or the removal of micro blemishes, resulting in extra keen cutting edges. Notably, these stones demonstrate compatibility with razors susceptible to micro-chipping.
