Offered here are some vintage sharpening stones and razor hones from our collection. All have been thoroughly cleaned and lapped to some degree.
See photos and details listed below for specifics on each hone:

Stone #1 - 8in x 1 13/16in.x 7/8in. thick at the longest/widest points
This stone is an old Llyn Idwal novaculite oil stone from Wales, only roughly lapped. After final lapping these make really nice very fine finishing hones.

Stone #2 - 4in. 3/8 x 2 x 9/16 in. thick at the longest/widest points
This is an old and rare vintage American Hone Co. Frictionite "00". Very finely lapped on both sides, this hone is ready to use immediately. Some of the original paper side label and side ink stamp are still remaining.

Stone #3 - 7 1/8in. x 1 7/8in. x 1 5/16 in. thick at the longest/widest points
An old and very hard and heavy stone, we believe it to be a soft
Arkansas. Lapped and ready to use.

Stone #4 - 7in. x 1 3/16in. x 11/16 in. thick at the longest/widest points
A very rare "synthetic coticule" very very fine and hard hone. Slow stone but excellent polisher. These were a barber horn made from coticule dust bound together and mounted to a slate backing.

Stone #5 - 7 1/4in. x 1 3/4in. x 3/4 in. thick at the longest/widest points
A very hard, old smooth Translucent Arkansas stone, lapped and ready to use, uneven back as it was once mounted on a wooden slab.

Stone #6 - 6 3/4in. x 2in.x 1in. thick at the longest/widest points
An old and very hard and heavy stone, we believe it to be a soft Arkansas. Lapped and ready to use.

Stone #7 - 7 1/2in. x 2in.x 7/8in. thick at the longest/widest points
An unidentified slate type hone, possibly English or Welsh slate?, roughly lapped but should be lapped finer for razor use

Stone #8 - 5 3/4in. x 2in. x 3/4in. thick at the longest/widest points
A very hard, old smooth Hindostan stone, roughly lapped but should be lapped finer for razor use

Stone #9 - 6in. x 2 7/8in. x 3/4in. thick at the longest/widest points
Japanese Miss Asagi Koppa, very finely lapped and ready to use, a good razor finisher.

Stone #10 - 5in. x 2in.x 7/8in. thick at the longest/widest points
An old Washita, looks to be a Lily White, a very high quality hone. Lapped and ready to use.

Stone #11 - 6 7/8in. x 1 7/8in.x 1/2in. thick at the longest/widest points
Unidentified Arkansas? hone, roughly lapped.

Stone #12 - 5in. x 2in.x 7/8in. thick at the longest/widest points
An unidentified slate type hone, possibly English or Welsh slate?, roughly lapped but should be lapped finer for razor use
