These large bench sized hones from the Yaginoshima mine in Kyoto, Japan, especially selected for razors. They are on the harder end of the spectrum and intended for finishing razors and other fine instruments or tools.
Each stone will come in a gold foil paper box like shown
Guide to stone stamps: Black characters say "Yaginoshima Awaseto". Small words are “Shiagetoishi” = for finishing. Green stamp is the stone supplier’s emblem. The black marking is the stamp of Kyoto natural stone association.

Stone No. 1 measures at its max dimensions 76mm wide x 208mm long x 37mm thick (2.99 inches wide x 8.19 inches long x 1.46 inches thick).
Stone No. 2 measures at its max dimensions 77mm wide x 208mm long x 34mm thick (3.03 inches wide x 8.19 inches long x 1.34 inches thick).
