These are both bench sized hones from the Yaginoshima mine in Kyoto, Japan, especially selected for razors. They are on the harder end of the spectrum and intended for finishing razors and other fine instruments or tools.
Guide to stone stamps: Black characters say "Yaginoshima Awaseto". Small words are “Shiagetoishi” = for finishing. Green stamp is the stone supplier’s emblem. The black marking is the stamp of Kyoto natural stone association.
Individual Stone Details:
Stone No. 1 is a slightly softer hone which weighs 1562 grams and measures at its max dimensions 77mm wide x 212mm long x 35mm thick.
Stone No. 2 is a slightly harder hone which weighs 1393 grams and measures at its max dimensions 77mm wide x 208mm long x 35mm thick.
