Vintage deep layer Ozuku Kuro Asagi. Super dense, hard and fine, perfect for Razor finishing using Mikawa Shiro Nagura. Ozuku is an Eastern mine known for producing harder, more fine stones. This deep strata Kuro or black Asagi is a beautifully understated piece with amazing performance characteristics. Perfectly shaped and extremely heavy with amazing density which translates to amazing feedback when honing with Nagura. Light saber, hyper keen edges can be achieved with proper work and technique.
