These examples of Selected grade Coticules for your consideration measures 200mm long x 75mm wide (8 x 2.4"). Selected Grade are the most pure and blemish free hones that come from the mine.
This Belgian Coticule is from the atelier of Ardennes Coticule, the only remaining producers of these sharpening stones. Coticules are wonderful razor hones and also well known for honing tools and knives. They are a fast cutting yet fine and versatile stone that can be used for bevel setting through finishing or followed by a finer stone.
