LX48 is a collaboration with perfumer Jean-Marc Challain, who created the scent inspired by midcentury oak-paneled club rooms and as an homage to Caswell-Massey’s former flagship store on Lexington Avenue and 48th Street. This is where our tradition began of custom-blending bespoke fragrances for special clients and creating signature scent experiences—and our perfumers were known to be the most talented and exceptionally creative in the city.
