Yaginoshima is a Western Mine situated in the Tanba region. The mine is well known for its pure, hard Asagi and revered for the Suita. These Suita Tomo Nagura are medium hard and quite aggressive. Perfect for pre finish of razors and providing a uniform polish and edge. 

When used to slurry base stones of hardness 4+, these Shiro Suita Nagura will typically release more of itself when compared to the base stone. The slurry has a fast cutting, live feel which takes a bit of time and technique to fully break down. The resulting polish is a vibrant, bright, hazy finish. Perfect for preceding a super hard, final finishing Tomo. Great pre finishing Tomo Nagura for beginners and all skill levels.
